How To Set Up The Harness?

All of our NDM 1 products are unisex and are designed and tested for both men and women. To set up the harness follow the steps below.

Put the backpack on. Adjust the horizontal chest straps to a comfortable length (The two "d-rings" allow you to change between a larger and smaller size). Use the outer ring for the large size and loop through both for the smaller size.
Adjust the vertical shoulder straps (If needed) to adjust the height of the buckle, the center buckle should align around the height of your solar plexus. Do note that a few models like Race 2.0 and Outlander PRO does not have this setting due to their low weight.

Care Instructions

Packs

We want you to follow the instructions on the care label for each product. Care labels are typically found inside of the product. If you can’t see it, look again. If you still can’t see it, contact us.

STEPS

After every ride, empty the pack completely and brush clean soiled areas with soapy water.
Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash.
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed.
Zippers must be kept clean for improved lifetime.
To store: close the pack and keep it in a dry, well ventilated place.

Hydration Systems

ELITE

Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

BRING THE ESSENTIALS ON THE HIGH EFFORT RIDE.

Outlander 4L XC is a race pack designed to be able to carry your phone keys, gloves and some extra energy to keep you going on the fast, high effort ride or race. Its designed for the performance minded MTB or gravel enthusiast who value low-weight gear. The front straps are lightweight with a highly breathable mesh, while the airy back panel helps to keep you dry and cool during fast, high effort rides.

STAY HYDRATED ON IN ACTION

The pack comes with an included 1.5L/50oz Hydrapak Elite™ hydration bladder with a big Slide-Seal top to easily fill it with water and ice. The bladder sits tight thanks to the compression sleeve and the drinking tube attaches easily and securely with the tube clip.

OCEAN RECYCLED

The new material is PFAS-free and Ocean Recycled.

FAQ

Can I fit a full-face helmet and knee pads in the 4L pack? +

No, the 4L capacity is designed for essentials like a spare tube, multi-tool, snacks, and a lightweight jacket. For bulkier gear like helmets or pads, check out the OUTLANDER XC 10L.

Does the hydration hose route on the left or right side? +

The hose routes cleanly over either shoulder, so you can set it up for left or right-side drinking based on your preference.

Will this pack work for trail running or is it just for biking? +

It's built specifically for mountain biking and gravel riding with a high-back fit that works with a helmet. Trail runners typically prefer a lower-profile vest design.

Can I add extra pockets or a tool pouch to this pack? +

Yes, the NDM 1.0 harness is compatible with USWE accessories like the Organizer Pocket, Chest Pocket, Phone Pocket, and Action Camera Harness for custom setups.

How do I prevent the bladder from getting moldy between rides? +

Rinse the Elite bladder with warm water after each ride, then hang it upside down with the opening propped open so it dries completely before storage.
