How To Set Up The Harness?

All of our NDM 1 products are unisex and are designed and tested for both men and women. To set up the harness follow the steps below.

Put the backpack on. Adjust the horizontal chest straps to a comfortable length (The two "d-rings" allow you to change between a larger and smaller size). Use the outer ring for the large size and loop through both for the smaller size.
Adjust the vertical shoulder straps (If needed) to adjust the height of the buckle, the center buckle should align around the height of your solar plexus. Do note that a few models like Race 2.0 and Outlander PRO does not have this setting due to their low weight.

Care Instructions

Packs

We want you to follow the instructions on the care label for each product. Care labels are typically found inside of the product. If you can’t see it, look again. If you still can’t see it, contact us.

STEPS

After every ride, empty the pack completely and brush clean soiled areas with soapy water.
Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash.
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed.
Zippers must be kept clean for improved lifetime.
To store: close the pack and keep it in a dry, well ventilated place.

Hydration Systems

ELITE

Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

But honestly, this hydration pack will be the perfect fit for anyone who’s searching for a bad-ass backpack with hydration that won’t cramp their speed or style. The front straps are lightweight with a highly breathable mesh, while the airy back panel helps to keep you dry and cool during fast, high effort Woodchopping sessions. It’s a racer and we guarantee you will love it, no matter if you are a pro or a happy amateur.

STAY HYDRATED IN ACTION

To keep you hydrated and focused while on the move, we picked a durable 1.5L / 50oz Elite Hydration Bladder Made by HydraPak®, with a big slide opening at the top for quick filling of ice and water. And after the race, the bladder is fully reversible for easy cleaning and drying. The Hydraflex drinking tube stays secure and close at hand with the tube clips.

OCEAN RECYCLED

The new material is PFAS free and Ocean Recycled.

FAQ

Can I add extra storage pockets to this pack? +

Yep. The NDM harness is compatible with USWE's modular accessories like the Organizer Pocket, Phone Pocket, and Gel Fuel Rack, so you can clip on extra storage without adding a bigger pack.

Will this pack fit if I have a larger chest size? +

The NDM 1.0 harness uses elastic straps with Velcro adjustment that accommodate a wide range of body types. If you need more room, the straps stretch to fit larger chest sizes comfortably.

How do I clean the hydration bladder? +

Pull the 1.5L Elite bladder out through the top, rinse it with warm water and mild soap, then hang it upside down to dry completely before storing it.

Is this pack big enough for all-day rides? +

It's built for fast XC races and 2-3 hour rides where you're carrying minimal gear. If you need more cargo space for longer adventures, check out the OUTLANDER XC 4L instead.

Can I mount a GoPro or action camera on this pack? +

Not directly, but you can add the USWE Action Camera Harness NDM 1, which clips onto the chest straps and gives you a stable mount for filming your rides.
