Can I use a hydration bladder instead of the included flasks? +
Yeah, the rear compartment fits a 2L hydration bladder if you want more water capacity for ultras or long unsupported runs. The vest is compatible with USWE's Elite Hydration Bladder and Shape Shift Hydration Bladder.
Will this vest fit if I have a larger chest or broad shoulders? +
The elastic side panels and adjustable NDM harness system are built to fit a wide range of body types across sizes XS to XL. The stretchy design flexes with your torso so it works for both men and women with different builds.
How do I clean the ultraflasks that come with the vest? +
Rinse the flasks with warm water after each run and let them air dry completely. Don't use hot water or put them in the dishwasher.
Can I attach trekking poles to this vest? +
The vest has attachment points and elastic loops where you can secure trekking poles when you're not using them on technical climbs or descents.
Does this vest bounce around when running downhill on rocky trails? +
Nope. The No Dancing Monkey 4-point harness locks the vest against your torso with elastic straps that move with your breathing but keep the pack from bouncing on rough terrain.

It’s great and light weight holds all my needs
My first running vest! Plenty of storage for hydration and stuff to fuel my runs. I use it a lot more than I thought I would. Even with a 2 liter bladder there's still room in it for a small med kit and other essentials. I like the extra visibility with the reflective markings and hoops where I can attach blinky lights. I can easily forget I'm wearing it. It's that comfortable.
I bought this vest for my wife (an Ultra runner) knowing she was shopping around for a superior vest. I knew of USWE and their solid packs from bike. My recommendation worked and she now races and trains with the best vest in the game!!!
Great fit and functionality. I would have given it five stars but the flasks came with straight tubes and not the angled ones shown in the picture.
The way the vest fits and carry my phone and bits a pieces I need with me
I purchased this after becoming a multiple-product USWE customer due to the no dancing monkey harness. I mountain bike, road bike, and run, all while wearing their backpacks (I own 3 in various sizes). I wanted to give this a shot. While the design, gear layout, and build quality is great and par for the course for USWE, I found that I did not enjoy having the water weight in front of me. I am used to carrying anywhere from 1.5L to 3L of water (plus gear) on my back. This was disappointing. If this may be you, I'd skip the vest but go with one of their backpacks. USWE, keep making fantastic products! I am a customer for life.

Had a issue with my original vest, USWE came to the rescue and sent me a new one. Have one for gravel bike racing and one for trail racing.

This is the fourth product I've bought. I have two Outlander 2L packs and one 4L pack. Excellent for road running and even trail running. What I like about the PACE 8L: Attachment system Lots of easily accessible pockets. love it Excellent fit I have two things I like less: For the two 500ml water bottles, I find the elastic that's supposed to hold them in place isn't effective. The bottles sink into their pockets and you constantly have to take them out. As for adding the 1.5L water bottle to the back, it doesn't work. The Velcro strap is reversed. Also, the pack doesn't have the same structure as the Outlander, so the entire back panel is deformed, and the weight of the water bottle distorts the pack. Also, they should add the same clip as on the Outlander to hold the drinking tube. I won't be able to use it with an additional water bottle. The Outlander works perfectly.
The adjusters at the top do not stay locked. The vest becomes off center easily and rides up on the left side of my neck, creating chafe on my neck. The mid-section is not adjustable The clasp in the middle rubs together and has a squeaking sound with every bounce. When I put a bottle in the front bottle holder, it fills up the entire area and I'm unable to put gels or items in the front pockets. Honestly, I will never wear this ever again and unfortunately the return policy and steps make it hard to get a refund. So, it will collect dust and I will not recommend USWE products ever again unless customer service gets fixed.
Got a women’s size small- fits like a glove. All the pouches in all the right places. Excited to try it with the bladder for longer efforts. It does not bounce. Have 16 miles with it and no rubbing.

Overall I love this pack/vest. Only downside is that it’s chaffed my shirts that I’ve worn under it, in the shape of the vest. Originally I thought it was just moisture, but my two shirts now have the outline of the vest etched in them. Not the greatest, but also not the end of the world. Just means I don’t wear an expensive shirt under it.

Have ran over a 100 miles with vest so far and I love the layout, storage, and how the vest never bounces. My only complaint the trekking pole storage goes across the chest and limits access to pockets. I would love to UWSE come out with quiver for trekking poles.

I have never used a running vest before, and because it is pricy, I wanted to do my homework. I use USWE for mtb, so I wanted to like the PACE too. And I do. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to, but I like it. Even though it adds extra weight with the soft flasks, i think it is worth it for being able to carry extra clothes. The soft flasks are very nice and they do not taste plastic :) and they are easy to clean. The only downside is that there is not dedicated battery-pack compartment for headlamps. The outer bottom pocket is probably the one to use, but I need to add some filling to minimise bouncing.
I baught this vest about a month before a trail event on recommendations from a fried. Only managing a few runs prior with it i quickly got accustomed to its features. And could not have been happier with the product. Easy to adjust on the move when you have drank or eaten from. And pockets to the rear are great as they do not require taking vest off to access.
I�ve had the vest out on two trail runs and it is perfect! Exactly what I was looking for.

I tried numerous Vests. This one is simply the best I ever used! Perfect work for longRuns and trailrunning.
Ran 60km with the vest and am very pleased with the comfort and convenience. Unfortunately, one of the tightening straps failed after the first wash. It was a light wash with only a few shirts and shorts, so I see no reason for the failure.
This pack is really comfortable. The no bounce thing is legit as well as the material makes it very breathable. My complaint is everything especially a phone falls out of the front pockets because there�s no velcro or snap to keep the items secure. I�ll be sewing velcro on them to fix this.
Fits well doesn�t bump around when running! Missing a compartment for the mobilphone in the front for easy access when running after a gps map. And the tubes from the waterpouches are a bit on the short side, otherwise like it a lot!
It really gives me unbelievably fitting filing. When I adjusted al the straps it�s really fitting me perfectly and stays put when running what is most important. I would recommend this Trail Running Vest to al Trail runners.
After much research, I chose the Pace 8L Running Vest. I wanted a vest that was light but provided enough space to carry enough fluids to get me through a six hour event with only one refueling stop. This was perfect. The vest is extremely comfortable and has enough pockets and spaces to hold all the gels and bars you need. One of the front pockets was perfect for my phone. The best feature is the locking design. It�s so simple to connect/unconnect. Much better that elastic strings and hooks. The sides can be tightened to give you a great fit. I�m 6�1�, 180 and went with XL. I replaced a similar Salomon vest that I couldn�t get to fit just right. I couldn�t be happier with my choice.
Perfect for running. High quality and rock solid even with the optional 2L reservoir on the back. Just as advertised. As one of the other reviewers pointed out, the hose lengths are a tad short on the 500ml reservoirs, but it�s not much of an issue.
Ran a marathon in the pack worked flawlessly!
I so wanted to love this hydration pack! It fits comfortably and truly has the no bounce feel. However if you look at the side picture of the vest you'll notice the elastic cords and the small plastic piece used to tighten those cords. That plastic piece rubbed the inside of my arm every time it swung during my runs! Maybe this was just me, but it is terrible placement for that buckle piece.
Tried this vest after trying on several others. Most have an annoying strap or bungy cord closure. Love how the Pace rides securely and comfortably with the easy on/off single buckle. The XS fits be great, but I�m sure I could make a S fit just as well. Won�t regret the purchase
Using it for trail runs ~20K. Comfortable, to bounce. I'm ~92 cm so between M and L. Went with L size which works great, you can tighten it quite a bit to make it fit well. Using a bladder in the back compartment. They recommend 2L but I've got a 3L which also fits. There is a strap in the top to secure it from falling down. The tube can be routed inside across one of the shoulders but would suggest a magnetic clip to make the end sit where it should be. Several other pockets for phone, gel, extra clothing. You can access most pockets while running without having to take off the vest. Some reflex details integrated in the design front and back Overall really happy with the vest. There are cheaper ones out there but you do get quality with this one and it should last me for a long time.
very comfortable & snug fit. specially for someone of a smaller size. bit of irregular proportions. Very stable. Love the mesh back. prevents one from getting the sweaty sensation additional friction. 2nd most stable vest i�ve had. it does not move a tad bit. I know i can make it more stable but there are so many adjustment cords that maybe they should make a video on which is to adjust what and in which situation. The two pockets under the flask pockets are hard to get in. should have been accessible from the side instead of top. Straps flasks get wiggly when not full & straws are too short. Bought 2 additional flasks to get the angled mouthpieces but the angle is wrong when flask is closed properly& also too short. overall 8. 5/10. Fit 9/10. Storage placements 7/10 Ease of use 7. 5/10
