The PACE 2L Trail Running Vest is a stripped-down running hydration vest built for trail runners who want just enough storage for gels, a phone, and two 500ml ultraflasks without feeling like you're wearing a backpack. Can I use a hydration bladder instead of the flasks?+
Yep. The PACE 2L is compatible with USWE's Elite Hydration Bladder and Shape Shift Bladder (sold separately) if you prefer a reservoir over flasks.
Will this vest fit over a jacket or base layer?+
The elastic side panels stretch to accommodate light layers underneath, but this vest is designed to sit close to your body for zero bounce. Size up if you plan to layer heavy.
How do I clean the ultraflasks?+
Rinse them with warm water after each run and let them air dry completely before storing. For deeper cleaning, use a bottle brush with mild soap.
Does this vest have pole attachments for trekking poles?+
No, the PACE 2L is a minimalist vest without pole attachments. Check out the PACE 8L or PACE 14L if you need pole storage for longer adventures.

I love the vest for both training and racing trail ultras. It hold a surprising amount for such a small vest. I had a small issue toward the end of my vest’s warranty period, the USWE customer service was great! I had my replacement vest in less than one week. I will definitely be using the bigger vest when I finally decide to move up to 100k and 100milers.
Very light and nimple , easy to access front pockets and good space . To bad it dont hafe 2 sippers in the back pocket . I got a bad arm so i can't flex ny arm to get whats stored on the back without taking it of . But a nice produkt

Perfect fit. No bobbling on my trail runs. I still need to get used to 2 hydration bladders, but I think having water in one and electrolytes fluid in the other will be a good combo on long runs.
I am really happy with the vest. It works exactly as I hoped, it is comfortable on both short and longer runs. During the warmest days I discovered that the material, especially around the neck, is too rough for skin. That was unexpected for this kind of product. The lining around the mesh material edge was sharp and rough on edges. But with a normal running shirt that is not a problem. It also looks better than most other vests, which does matter for me on events where pictures are taken. It has quite a lot of capacity. I was surprised that it came with two bottles, which was extremely positive. At the same time I am a bit unhappy with both bottles and how the vest works with other bottles. Bottles had really small openings and are difficult to fill. And the vest does work even with my normal 500ml bottles, but the fit could have been better. Also the gel holders on shoulders did not work with my gels at all.
Used this water best for a 10k spartan race and for the most part never even noticed I was wearing it. On a few obstacles the straws and pouches got hung up but other than that it was flawless. Had plenty of space to carry my extra gu, phone and credit cards. The back pocket I stored my keys and everything stayed dry and safe
Out of the box it looked great. When putting on the vest to go out on my first run with it pulling the side strings a black fastener came off in my hand.
The vest its self is great but I was
dissapointed as I thought it may have lasted a bit longer before things started to fall off hence my middle rating

Beside keeping everything in place and a snug fit it is nevertheless very comfortable.
And the breathable material is light and flexible.
A huge advantage at the aid station�r is the simple one-hand lock.
This is a value for money purchase which I honestly can recommend.

Wanted a good quality running vest for an upcoming 50 miler that was lightweight and breathable. Vest fits perfectly, holds enough gels/hydration/gear to make it from aid station to aid station with ease. Plus, I love the single snap clip on the front to easily remove the vest, refill, and put back on in a minimal amount of time.

Perhaps a bit too small, as there is only little space to put into a jacket. So the next bigger size is perhaps a good alternative.
This is definitely the best running vest I've seen so far. The quality of the materials and fabrication are perfect. It fits perfectly and nothing bounces. But if I absolutely have to make requests for improvement: The zipper of the pocket on the back could be 1-2 cm longer. Nobody really needs the little whistle. And I think the straws on the ultraflasks are too short. But I simply lengthened them myself. This works very well thanks to an intelligent design.
This is the best running vest I have tried, by far. The fit is comfortable and it has a lot of thoughtful conveniences built in. You can not go wrong with this vest. However, there is room for improvement. The water bottle pockets are integrated into the vest, such that as you drink, the vest loosens and starts to bounce. You can tighten it on the go, but the pull tabs are located under your arm and stowing them is nearly Impossible on the run. If left out, they can chaff. This needs to be redesigned for it to be great IMO.
