WHY WE DESIGNED IT:

The OUTLANDER PRO is a super light race hydration pack developed and designed for MTB marathon athletes and weekend warriors. It has conquered the Absa Cape Epic and are currently exploring the world of Gravel Racing. The pack is being stripped off to go minimum on weight and to maximize the ventilation at the front. We’re using an ultralight mesh-membrane harness with fixed size to make this happen. This is a Factory Racing pack!

How To Set Up The Harness?

All of our NDM 1 products are unisex and are designed and tested for both men and women. To set up the harness follow the steps below.

Put the backpack on. Adjust the horizontal chest straps to a comfortable length (The two "d-rings" allow you to change between a larger and smaller size). Use the outer ring for the large size and loop through both for the smaller size.
Adjust the vertical shoulder straps (If needed) to adjust the height of the buckle, the center buckle should align around the height of your solar plexus. Do note that a few models like Race 2.0 and Outlander PRO does not have this setting due to their low weight.

Care Instructions

Packs

We want you to follow the instructions on the care label for each product. Care labels are typically found inside of the product. If you can’t see it, look again. If you still can’t see it, contact us.

STEPS

After every ride, empty the pack completely and brush clean soiled areas with soapy water.
Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash.
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed.
Zippers must be kept clean for improved lifetime.
To store: close the pack and keep it in a dry, well ventilated place.

Hydration Systems

ELITE

Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

To keep you hydrated and focused, the pack comes with a premium 2.0 liter Elite hydration bladder with plug-n-play.

To keep you hydrated and focused while on the move, we picked a durable 2.0 / 70oz liter Elite hydration bladder to go inside the pack, with a big slide opening at the top for quick filling of ice and water. And after the race, the bladder is fully reversible for easy cleaning and drying. The Hydraflex drinking tube sits securely close at hand with the tube clips.

Does this pack work for trail running or is it just for biking? +

The OUTLANDER PRO 2L works for trail running, mountain biking, and gravel racing. The fixed-size harness fits most athletes across different sports, so you can use it for whatever gets your heart rate up.

Can I add extra pockets or accessories to this pack? +

Yes, the NDM 1.0 PRO harness is compatible with USWE's modular accessories like the Organizer Pocket NDM 1 and Phone Pocket NDM-1. Clip them onto the chest straps for quick access to your phone, gels, or tools without adding a bigger pack.

How do I know if the fixed size will fit me? +

The stretchy mesh-membrane harness is designed to fit most body types by conforming to your torso. If you typically wear small to large in other hydration packs, this fixed-size system should work for you.

Is the bladder easy to refill during a race? +

The 2L Elite bladder has a wide opening at the top that makes refilling fast at aid stations. The separate bladder compartment lets you pull it out quickly without digging through your gear.

Will this pack stay put on rough technical trails? +

Absolutely. The No Dancing Monkey 1.0 PRO harness uses a 4-point suspension system that locks the pack to your body with zero bounce, even when you're hitting jumps or railing through rocky singletrack.
