Works great after I used a wire tie to hold it on. The first time I pulled the hose from the magnet the whole thing came of off the rucksack but simple fix with a wire tie. Now it works great and I love it, thanks USWE!

Customer service was very responsive when I called to inform them that the hose clip wasn’t attached. The company sent me a new clip replacement within 1-1.5 weeks.

Make sure you secure it correctly in your harness. It will pop off during your ride

Great idea but missed the mark I am a big fan of the USWE hydration packs and use mine for MTB XC Riding and Racing. My hope was that the magnetic clip would help me quickly drink while racing in fast technical terrain. Unfortunately the clip that fits to the strap actually fell off during the first race I attempted to use it in but even before that it was difficult to locate and certainly no easier than the standard set-up.

Cheapest way to improve your ride! I cannot believe I waited as long as I did to purchase this very inexpensive, but invaluable addition to my riding gear. The magnet is strong enough that you don’t even have to look for it, as long as you throw the bite valve down in the general vicinity of the magnet, the magnet will find it and catch it. Yet it is still super easy to remove the bit valve from the magnet when you need it. Everyone should have this on their pack.

Lost it on the first ride Came with my airborne 9L. Lost it on the first ride I did after just getting the bag. The clip “un-clipped” without me noticing. I contacted customer support and their response was to buy another one for 20$ plus I have to pay the customs fees as I am ordering from Canada. Very disappointed from a premium bag and from the customer service. Now the tube is just dangling under my arm pit. More annoying than useful.
Great idea but seems to bounce loose on steep downhills.
Magnetic clip is a great way to control your tube. I use it on my MTB vest. I know where my bringing tube is when I need to hydrate and it’s not flopping around. This should be included with all the hydration systems. No monkey on your back but a wild tube flying around without the magnetic. Clip to keep everything secure. The magnetic clip on the tube doesn’t restrict water flow and the clip on the vest stay secure on the loop I use.
