Best of Three Worlds

When designing the Hybrid Bib Shorts we wanted to provide the padded comfort of a gravel bib with the looks of a baggy MTB shorts, as well as the option to ride casual tee-shirt style, still with the pockets of a gravel or a road jersey. Our solution is the best of, well, not two, but three worlds. The Hybrid Bib Shorts has an innovative 2-in-1 combo design which blends a tight padded lycra base layer including a comfy chamois padding, with a baggy wind resistant MTB shorts on top. The third ingredient is placed in the back of the mesh suspenders, with three mesh pockets in the same place and function as the back pockets of a roadie jersey. Pretty clever, right?

Our Choice of Fabric

The outer shell short is made of wind-resistant fabrics that provides a ventilated feeling while giving you the protection needed. The inner lycra short has a snug feeling that will give a comfortable ride all the way through the finish line.

The Key Features:

On the lower back you have easy access hidden mesh pockets where you can stash a lightweight jacket, gloves, food or even an extra bottle (if you for some reason is not riding with a USWE hydration pack. But, seriously… why shouldn't you ride with a USWE pack? We have so many options for the trails. And, for your information only, as this might be a hidden secret; even if you carry an extra bottle in the back pocket of a jersey or as in this case the Hybrid Bib Shorts, you will still be able to carry a USWE hydration pack like the Outlander PRO, the Rush 8 or the MTB Hydro 3 as these packs sits higher on your back and doesn't interfere with the pockets. Now back to the topic…). On the right leg there’s a zippered pocket for your essentials.

Care / Clean:

Packs

We want you to follow the instructions on the care label for each product. Care labels are typically found inside of the product. If you can’t see it, look again. If you still can’t see it, contact us.

STEPS

After every ride, empty the pack completely and brush clean soiled areas with soapy water.
Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash.
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed.
Zippers must be kept clean for improved lifetime.
To store: close the pack and keep it in a dry, well ventilated place.

Hydration Systems

ELITE

Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

SHAPE-SHIFT

The Shape-Shift features a removable baffle which locks for a slim profile and increased stabilization. When unlocked it reverses for easy cleaning - place it on the top-shelf of your dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

FIXED (ALSO KNOWN AS SHAPE-LOC CONNECTION)

Many of our packs use a fixed baffle bladder called the Fixed ( Also known as Shape-Loc). It can only be reversed up until the baffle is exposed but is still simple to clean. We recommend either using a bottle brush or Bottle Bright.

Method One - Fill your bladder with warm water and use a bottle brush along with mild soap to scrub it clean. Rinse well and hang it upside down to dry.

Method Two - Fill your bladder with warm water and drop in one or two Bottle Bright tablets, slide the top close and let sit for fifteen to thirty minutes (depending on the amount of residue). Rinse and hang upside down to dry.
