Will this bite valve fit my hydration pack if it's not a USWE pack? +
Yep, the Comet fits standard hydration tubes from most brands. Just slide it on and you're good to go.
How do I clean the bite valve after muddy rides? +
Rinse the silicone mouthpiece with warm water to flush out dirt and keep the self-sealing mechanism working smoothly. No fancy tools needed.
Does the valve leak when I'm riding rough terrain? +
Nope. The self-sealing silicone sheath locks shut after each sip, and the twist lock lets you close it completely to prevent leaks on gnarly sections.
Can I operate the lock with one hand while riding? +
Absolutely. The twist lock flips open or shut with one hand so you can keep your eyes on the trail and your other hand on the bars.
Why is the valve angled at 45 degrees? +
The 45 degree angle positions the mouthpiece perfectly for easy drinking without yanking the tube or twisting your neck.

It is a replacement Comet Bite Valve 45° Comet. I only wish the 1st one lasted a little longer than it did. Just one year and the clear rubber had a crack or tear in it. Little $$$ pricy to buy one every year. It Is what it is. planned obsolescence (built-in obsolescence or premature obsolescence).
I bought 3 because I had 2 broken ones & wanted a spare for myself or a buddy. One of the new replacement valves leak and I haven't had a chance to try the other valve I installed.

Hi, my name is Cameron Russell and I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia. I�m Mechanical Engineering in background and have to say I love your products. I have your 3L mtb hydropack. Dancing monkey is the goat. I bought this replacement valve for this mtb hydropack and I have full confidence it will work as expected. However I have feedback on the packaging. The plastic that was form fitted to the valve itself was extremely difficult to get off. Usually I have no problem with these as it even had a vertical strip that was pre notched to make it easier. Incredible difficult, and took about 8 minutes with my fingers. Didn�t want to use a sharper tool as I didn�t want to puncture the valve head. That�s the review! Thanks for the amazing designs.

The product is great. However, between shipping and an unexpected tariff imposed by FedEx, the price was triple retail.
The angle and lock have improved since the previous model.
I placed an order for odd parts to repair some packs for the up coming season. To my surprise not only did they come from Sweden :u1F1F8::u1F1EA:, they arrived super fast to the US. Definitely one happy customer!!

Noticed my standard valve leaked due to a rupture in the soft material. Easy to find the right replacement, an even better one on to of that. Shipping went fast and easy to replace. Awesome gear and love that you can buy spare parts instead of buying a whole new blatter as a replacement.

I have had the USWE hydration pack for about a year and am already on my 3rd bite valve. Both started to leak after a half dozen uses. They are also costly!
It cracks at the bite bit very easily and leaks which is a nuisance
