The Phone Pocket / NDM 1 give you the opportunity to quickly at any time access your phone, keys or snacks without even unbuckling the backpack. The pocket has two compartments. The zippered compartment keeps your phone in place while moving and the mesh pocket allow for easy and instant access to things like a gel or other small items. The attachment can be used on the No Dancing Monkey™ 1.0 and No Dancing Monkey™ 1.2 harnesses. and is simply attached by two velcro straps (See video tab).
The pocket is is available in the size below. The following measurements are approximately the maximum measurements a phone can have.
XL: 16cm / 6.3" height and 7.5cm / 2.95" width.

Will this phone pocket fit my USWE pack?+
It works with any USWE pack that has the No Dancing Monkey 1.0 or 1.2 harness, including Airborne, Ranger, Vertical, Patriot, Outlander, and all MOTO and MTB Hydro models. If your pack has the older NDM harness, you're good to go.
Can I access my phone without taking off my pack?+
Yep. The pocket sits on your chest strap right where you can reach it while riding, so you can grab your phone in seconds without stopping or removing your pack.
What size phone will fit in this pocket?+
The zippered main compartment fits most modern smartphones, including larger models. The pocket is designed to hold your phone securely without excessive bulk.
Is the phone pocket waterproof?+
It's not fully waterproof, but the zippered closure keeps out dust and light moisture. If you're riding in heavy rain, consider using a waterproof phone case inside the pocket for extra protection.
Can I use this pocket for other gear besides my phone?+
Absolutely. The main compartment works for a GPS device, energy bars, or a small camera, and the mesh exterior pocket holds gels, keys, or a multi-tool.

Was concerned about the size issues with bigger phones that some have mentioned. I have an iPhone 15 Pro with a fairly bulky ESR waterproof case and the phone fits with room to spare and easily zips. Just measure your phone before purchasing to be sure.
The pouch loooked a bit on the small side so I was a bit disappointed when I first saw it. But when I put my Iphone15 ProMax inside I was pleasantly surprised that my phone fit. Now I when I ride my phone e is readily accessible
This is my second phone pocket that I have and it is simply the best.
The first one was used for five years on hard enduro trails and I expect no less from this one. This second version is upgraded with higher quality material so it can only be better.
I wasn�t sure if Id like this or if it would be annoying when riding by moving around.
I love it! It is a great addition to my pack. It holds my phone and a couple of other items I like to have easy access to.
Quality is on par with everything else USWE makes, which is top notch.

Simply won't fit a phone like the Samsung s23 ultra with a slim case .
Please consider making something that fit modern smart phones
I had previously used the large phone pocket by uswe and while it was great the straps didn't hold up long term as the top velcro strap wore out. The large was made of neoprene.
This time I wanted a bit more space so I went with the xl size. Much to my surprise, this time around the pocket was a little smaller (seriously) and my phone is just barely able to fit in.
It's also not made of neoprene, much like the product photo shows. My issue with the new pocket is that it's slightly smaller, the material and zipper don't seem like they will hold up well long term but, in fairness to uswe, that is yet to be seen. The Denison to not use neoprene seems like a mistake because there is less 'padding' to protect my phones screen.
Overall, uswe makes amazing, high quality products, but this one seems like a swing and a miss. I hope they come out with a better quality pocket in the future to get closer to what the original one i ordered was. . . with tougher vector straps or some other strap solution that will be more durable when coupled to the hydration backpack
The pocket is high quality, but I mistakenly purchased the XL size without checking the dimensions. With there being a standard size and XL, I incorrectly assumed that XL would fit larger phones, but it does not. For reference, the XL fits the smallest Samsung Galaxy phones. Please make a larger version! :)

The material used is just a thin fabric, while on the old phone pockets, it was neoprene.
The external net is smaller.
This phone pocket is not used on a USWE bag.
This utility pocket is a very welcome attachment for my pack. Used primarily for training rides on bike and especially good for xc skiing. Although I still wish for a simpler smaller gel only sleeve or pocket attachment for event and race use. Overall an excellent addition. I would like it far better in its existing shape/size if the attaching mechanism was less obnoxious, the straps seem huge, bulky and stiff in relation to everything else.
Makes taking a picture out on the trail much easier as to phone access. I have the new Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max with exterior case. It just barely can be zipped over. As phones get bigger, the XL will need to get bigger!
Great for holding phone while keeping it away from water or being damaged in a crash, I love the mesh pocket on the outside for snacks, only 4 stas because being XL it barely fits my 6.7" phone
This is a very handy and sturdy pouch but the Large is still too small for either of the items that I intended to put in it. Neither my phone nor my rx glasses (in a case) fit in this pouch. It needs to be just a bit bigger.
Good product and great quality. Unfortunately my phone didn't fit, Samsung S22 even though this pouch is size XL. I use it to store other things instead.
