The ZULO 6L hydration waist pack is built for racers and big mountain riders who need their gear clamped to their hips, not flopping around like dead weight. This hydration hip pack uses a curved banana shape and a single-buckle NDM Belt suspension strap to lock 6 liters of storage and 1.5 liters of water tight against your lower back without messing with your breathing, balance, or ability to rail berms at speed. Available in Black or Crazy Yellow, this lightweight hydration pack is engineered for enduro stages, off-road motorcycle missions, and technical singletrack where every ounce of movement kills your flow.

Fit & Kit
Strap the ZULO 6L around your waist and cinch the single-buckle suspension strap until the pack feels glued to your hips. The curved design should sit snug against your lower back without riding up or shifting when you move. After each ride, rinse the hydration bladder with warm water and hang it to dry with the cap open to prevent funky smells and bacteria buildup. For deeper cleaning, use a bladder brush and mild soap every few weeks to keep the system fresh and ready for the next mission.

Does the ZULO 6L work with body armor or chest protectors?+
Yes. The single-buckle waist strap sits below your chest protector and locks the pack to your hips without interfering with upper body armor or riding gear.
Can I refill the bladder without taking the pack off?+
No. The 1.5L Compact Lumbar bladder sits inside the pack, so you'll need to remove the ZULO 6L to access the wide opening and refill it between stages or stops.
Will this fit riders with narrow hips or small waists?+
Yes. The adjustable single-buckle suspension strap and curved banana shape adapt to different waist sizes and body types for a secure, customized fit.
How do I keep the hydration tube from bouncing around while riding?+
The insulated tube routes through integrated clips on the pack to keep it secure and accessible. You can also pair it with the USWE Helmet Handsfree Kit for hands-free drinking.
Is there enough room for a rain jacket and tools?+

This was through a warranty claim. The customer service was the easiest and best I have experienced. Item was shipped at no cost.
I will continue to support USWE and I’ve been spreading the word to all my moto friends at the track how happy I was.
Often companies will not stand behind their product or make the warranty process so difficult people give up. I’ve bought lots over the years from you guys and this was the first I’ve ever had an issue with.

The fit is great, I’ve had trouble with most water packs making my neck and back sore after a long ride, not so with this pack, doesn’t bounce around, snug but still comfortable, great pack.
its relatively good product by quality and design but: its for skinny people, I am not overweight but I am not small either - the belt is relatively short and it is missing this remark on its product website. Also clip for holding hydration hose is poor quality material, hard plastic that got broker on the first use.
Decent water and tools, clothing capacity, keeps the weight and heat off your back. I use it for MTB, lower centre of gravity and more comfortable than a backpack
Tjena! I think the bag is good as such but:
- the clip is not good enough, the magnet clip does not meet my requirements. The magnetic clip should be firmly connected to the bag.
- for me, I am 1,9 m tall. The water hose is too short. So when biking I can�t drink and bike simultaneously. I have to lean down and then I can not see the MTB trail.
I love the broad waist band. The pockets are good! Overall quality is good but the magnetic clip is a disaster!
Plenty of capacity for hydration & essentials for short rides. It fits snugly and is comfortable for hours at a time.
Quality of the pack itself is very good. Except for the clip that holds the drinking tube on the belt. Firstly, this clip design is poor, it doesn�t grip on the belt and keeps coming off. I had to use a zip-tie to hold it on, Secondly, after only three rides the clip broke completely, the plastic just snapped. The clip needs a complete redesign.
Having purchased previous USWE products, I had high hopes for the Zulo 6L Hydration Waist Pack. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed. The first time I went to use the pack was in a cross-country motorcycle race, and it failed me, leaving me without hydration and causing me to stop and try and repair it so I could get a drink. For some reason, the hose would not stay connected to the bladder, and during the race, it came undone. I stopped and fixed it once, and it came undone again. Once back at home, I examined the connection between the hose and the bladder and could not find any visible reason for them not to stay connected. I ended up trying a hose from a backpack unit I had, and it worked fine. The hose connection must be defective. The other issue I have with the waist pack is the hose from the bladder to your mouth is not long enough and it would not reach my mouth. Not sure why the hose is so short.
Awesome little hydration pack! Trying to get the weight off my back and this is just the ticket! Plenty of room for snacks and stuff. Only negative is the little, plastic clip with the magnet on it to hold the hose to the strap broke after a couple of uses. Be careful with it!
The bag is solid, but came with a few caveats.
I was disappointed that it didn't come with the magnetic attachment that was shown in the picture. Emailed USWE, never heard back. I was able to find one on amazon for less than $10. The rubber port on the bag that the hose goes through didn't go all the way through, I'm guessing a manufacturing error. I had to cut a hole in the fabric beneath it to get the tube through. It seemed they just skipped that step, so the hole I cut is a little jagged.
The construction, function, and durability of the bag itself has been great so far and I expect it to last a long time.
The Zulo 6L looks great but I�m having a difficult time coordinating the tube/magnet while riding. The Velcro belt coupled with snap closure makes a big belly guy like me uncomfortable. Lastly this came with no instructions on how to fill up the bladder. Took a few you tube videos to figure out how to do this. We(I purchased two one for my girlfriend) only used it twice but for the $135 price I�m not pleased. Hopefully things will improve and I�ll up date this review at this time.
I have been in love with USWE packs. I have bought 2 in the last 4 years and have shared sales ads with many friends that then lead to purchases. I saw this hip pack and never doubted it would fit the bill for my riding. I got it and there was no way to secure the hose included. Even the picture in this email has a clip or magnet. That one little feature missing from this bag is the make or break item, and there is nothing included.
My Zulu 6L is very durable, has great utility, plenty of storage for my needs. I feel it would be even better with a minor redesign to accommodate a 2L hydration bladder. I find the 1.4L is just too small for my needs.
This is by far the best hip pack I�ve tried. It holds a lot, and the fit is amazing. It stays secure and doesn�t creep around to the front while riding.
Great way to store an extra 1.5 liters of water, on those hot summer days. I use this in conjunction with my regular USWE pack. Fits around my waist, right below my pack, and I don't even notice it's there.
Rides well once it's on. Straps are too short for anyone over a 36 Waiste. With moto pants on it's really just barely able to close. Should be bigger straps too short
I ordered the Zulu to try out for gravel rides. I wanted to try an alternative to a back hydration pack. The Zulu is great for that, but just didn't work quite comfortably enough for a 4.5hr steady ride. As a nice surprise, it did act sort of like a lumbar support and gave relief to my tired lower back.
I do think this will be a good pick for a long MTB ride.
