How To Set Up The Harness?
All of our NDM 1 products are unisex and are designed and tested for both men and women. To set up the harness follow the steps below.
Put the backpack on. Adjust the horizontal chest straps to a comfortable length (The two "d-rings" allow you to change between a larger and smaller size). Use the outer ring for the large size and loop through both for the smaller size.
Adjust the vertical shoulder straps (If needed) to adjust the height of the buckle, the center buckle should align around the height of your solar plexus. Do note that a few models like Race 2.0 and Outlander PRO does not have this setting due to their low weight.
Care Instructions
Packs
We want you to follow the instructions on the care label for each product. Care labels are typically found inside of the product. If you can’t see it, look again. If you still can’t see it, contact us.
STEPS
After every ride, empty the pack completely and brush clean soiled areas with soapy water.
Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash.
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed.
Zippers must be kept clean for improved lifetime.
To store: close the pack and keep it in a dry, well ventilated place.
Hydration Systems
ELITE
Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

Design & Action
Lock down your gear and forget it even exists. The Airborne 3L Race Edition is built for singletrack junkies who need zero bounce and 100% freedom when the trail gets gnarly. This lightweight hydration pack uses USWE's patented No Dancing Monkey 4-point harness to glue the pack to your back, so you can rail corners and send drops without your gear punching the back of your helmet. At just 415g (without bladder), this thing disappears on your back while carrying everything you need for fast mountain biking and technical terrain.
The sleek gray ripstop nylon construction takes a beating in the mud without adding bulk. A magnetic tube clip keeps your hydration hose secure and accessible at the front, so you can drink on the move without fumbling. The detachable multi-pocket gives you the choice to go light or superlight, depending on how much gear you're hauling for the day.

NDM 1.0 harness system: Patented 4-point suspension locks the pack in place with zero bounce, even on rough trails and high-speed descents
3L total volume with 2L Elite Hydration Bladder: Plug-n-Play coupling for quick refills and easy cleaning between rides
Detachable multi-pocket: Swap between 2L and 3L storage to match your ride, from quick after-work laps to all-day adventures
Magnetic tube holder: Keeps your hydration tube secure and ready to grab without looking down
Ultralight construction: Weighs just 415g without bladder, built from durable ripstop nylon that survives crashes and mud
Fit & Kit
Dial in the perfect fit by adjusting the elastic shoulder straps and waist belt to match your body type. The NDM harness distributes weight evenly across your chest and hips for stable, comfortable wear during multi-hour rides. The pack works for all riders and fits comfortably over jerseys or light jackets. After your ride, rinse the Elite Hydration Bladder with warm water and hang it to dry. The wide opening makes cleaning easy, so your water stays fresh ride after ride.
FAQ
How do I fill the hydration bladder on the Airborne 3L?+
The Elite Hydration Bladder features a wide opening at the top for easy filling and cleaning. Use the Plug-n-Play coupling to quickly disconnect the tube, fill the bladder, and reconnect without removing the pack.
Will this pack fit if I have a larger chest or broad shoulders?+
Yes, the NDM 1.0 harness uses adjustable elastic straps with Velcro that accommodate different body types, including larger chest sizes and broad shoulders. The 4-point system distributes weight evenly for a secure fit on all riders.
Can I attach a GoPro or action camera to this hydration pack?+
Absolutely. The Airborne 3L is compatible with the USWE Action Camera Harness NDM 1, which mounts directly to the harness system for stable footage on rough trails.
Does the pack bounce around when riding technical singletrack?+
No. The patented No Dancing Monkey 4-point harness locks the pack to your back with zero bounce, even on jumps, drops, and chunky terrain.
What's the difference between 2L and 3L storage on this pack?+
The pack includes a detachable multi-pocket that adds 1L of gear storage. Remove it for a lighter 2L setup on short rides, or keep it attached for 3L total capacity on longer adventures.
Riders love how lightweight and comfortable this pack feels on long rides, with several customers using it for 100-mile gravel races without any discomfort. The zero-bounce fit gets consistent praise, with customers noting it stays locked in place and is easy to adjust on the fly. Many appreciate the versatility of the removable pocket for switching between quick rides and longer adventures, though a few larger riders mention the straps can feel snug on broader chests.
Don't even notice the pack on my back. Super comfortable and easy to use. Not hot at all. The pouch is very small, I believe it is a 1L storage pouch and 2L hydration pouch. So if you have 2L of water you only get 1L storage. Would recommend
Great pack. I'm 6'4", even with the XL strap, it's a bit tight and cuts into my lower neck/shoulder area, until I drink about half the amount of the water. Also when Gopro is attached, the pack sits so high, the camera is touching my chin🤷
Love this pack! Stays where it should during technical rides and jumping. Has enough storage for a phone, keys, tube and to strap a jacket to the outside. I wish they offered free shipping for futures orders.
Got this for hard enduro rather then mtb since I liked the design of the second bag on the back more for storing a small amount of tools and it works beautifully for that. But the bag stays still on your back and is quite comfortable. Also makes you look fly as hell
Have not used the water bladder yet but have put my kids water bottle plus tools in and didn’t even notice it on my back. Glad to finally have something to comfortably cary tools, wallet, car keys etc and looking forward to the extra water on longer rides
Order took almost a week to ship and about 2 weeks to be delivered. I ordered a week before my trip so I never got to use it. Will probably return because it’s actually a 2L capacity water pouch. They list the bag as 3L but that’s the “bag” size not the water capacity….deceiving marketing so pay attention to the fine print
The bag is really well made, and unlike some others the harness system makes a huge difference. Perfect for a motorcycle ride in single trail and big bike adventures. I can’t give it 5 stars because I found that the adjustments were for a much skimmer person (not that I am large but it was designed for Europeans), which meant that after 8-10 hours I wish I had an extra inch to let out for comfort.
Still highly recommends. If you need a hydration system for a long day ride
This hydration pack is a huge improvement over the one I used previously. It’s easy to fill and clean. It fits perfect and the no dancing monkey is no joke!
I used the Airborne pack for a MTB enduro and it preformed as advertised. Holds 2L of water which is perfect for those longer rides. The bladder and hose connection are convenient for routing and cleaning. The bladder's big opening is also great for dumping in powdered carbs. The spare pocket is big enough to hold a phone, spare tube and some gels. Once clipped in, it stays put, no monkey business.
Very versatile and well designed piece of equipment. Combined with NDM1 camera strap works well. After 145km gravel race no discomfort, I forgot it shortly after start, although my first impression was it is a bit tight, but no, I could focus on my ride. A small detachable pocket adds space which can be used for whatever personal or bike gear you want to take. I appreciate magnetic clip for drinking bladder hose, it does the great job, especially on technical segments.
The only problem is that the new version has some nice improvements. I bought a second as a gift for my son after he kept borrowing mine. If I had known, I could have upgraded and passed mine down. Joking aside, the new padding on the back improves ventilation. Magnetic and flow controlable bite valve is nice. The two additional elastic straps might be useful for securing something. Always nice to get a product that exceeds expectations! Thanks.
I love that it's light and rides high on my back. Now I don't over pack and have more airflow for keeping cool. I would definatly recommend it to a friend.
I love most USWE gear. It's practical and durable and usually adaptable to different uses. I bought this pack for my son for his mountain biking. Compared to the Outlander Pro, which I own, this one is a much beefier build, for better and for worse. It's noticeably heavier, and there is a little more room. It has more of a rigid back to the back. I don't yet know how much this is needed. The magnetic hydration hose attachment is awesome.
This is my third purchase so I like the product but the flow on the water lone seems restricted and I’m nit sure why it would be different than the others ..
A great smaller pack, when you don't need to carry a lot with you on a ride or hike. If the main reason you want a pack is to carry water than this is the pack for you. Fits great and sticks like a glove.
I bought this for longer rides and wanted a pack that fit closely. I’ve been very happy with the results and glad I bought the model with the detachable storage. I’ve got the bike tools and tubes etc out of my jersey pockets.
