her story

Hannah Otto has been racing for most of her life. At the early age of 9 she started racing on a bike that was more than half her weight at the time. Eleven years later she received her professional license in triathlon and MTB.

In her early career Hannah became the XTERRA Amateur World Champion twice. She then after her second victory shifted her focus to MTB and left the running and swimming behind. Throughout high school and College she became a state champion and National Champion many times. Later she started racking up multiple PRO-XCT wins and represented USA Cycling in the World Championship XCO stage multiple times.

In 2020 she was in the the Olympic Long Team and in 2022 Hannah won the infamous Leadville 100 MTB Race. She has also been a part of the Elite World Championship MTB Team in 2019, 2021 and 2022. She also finished in 1st place at the UCI World Cup XCM - Snowshoe 2023 race.

Quick Facts

Hannah started racing when she was 9 years old and in her early career by became the XTERRA Amateur World Champion twice in Triathlon. She later left running and swimming behind to focus fully on MTB.

In 2018 she graduated from Lindenwood University with a degree in both Athletic Training (healthcare) and Exercise Science and was named the School of Health Sciences Student of the Year. She is a USA Cycling Certified Coach and Board Certified Athletic Trainer.

She has competed in Division II NCAA swimming, cross country, and track, as well as Division I mountain bike, cyclocross, and road racing. She once said "One of my favorite parts of sport is the ability to continue to redefine your own limits and be better than you were yesterday."
