"Being an endurance style racer, I really enjoy using the outlander 2L hydration pack to fuel my electrolytes and liquid calories that are highly in need when being out there for 3 hours straight!"-Dylan Dela Cruz

his story

“My riding started when I was four years old. After being told I was too young to play tee ball by the association, my dad drove down the street to pick up a new jr 50 from a local shop to “show those people wrong”. Pretty kick-ass if you ask me.

Dylan started off riding around the local park and then soon transitioned to Harescramble races where his Dad had been racing the local Virginia series. After winning consecutive youth titles and championships, Dylan knew racing dirt bikes was something he wanted to pursue.

He now competes in the GNCC and National Enduro series which are more endurance style and considered as more prestigious events, with the GNCC series being Dylans favorite. -“It’s like racing a motocross track through the woods while dodging trees and tracking your way through gnarly obstacles and around 500 people on track”. Each race has 1-2 miles of a main event bike only section that could be climbing straight up hills, technical rock sections, deep tight ravines, or riding huge off camber hills.

Taking home his first Open A win at the Hoosier Gncc and getting the first AA class win and Top Amateur at the Dragon’s Back National Enduro this year, the fire is burning hot to take home both titles in 2024. He won’t be satisfied unless both goals are accomplished. The National Enduro win was special to Dylan as it is the only national race in his state of Virginia and won’t be back next year.

Quick Facts

2024 will Dylans first year since 2017, taking on the complete National Enduro series. -"I’m ecstatic to be wearing USWE’s newest gear!"

If he is not on his dirtbike, you can probably find him at the closest local break catching some waves!
