Billy began his career riding motocross at a young age before moving into enduro, where his skills quickly caught the attention of the British enduro scene.

Billy's breakthrough year was 2017, in this year he won the British Expert Championship before gaining international recognition when he finished third at the Red Bull 111 Megawatt event in Poland.

Billy continued to establish himself in 2018, putting on an impressive performance in the very first FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, collecting wins and podium finishes. In his first season, he won the SuperEnduro Junior World Championship.

Billy became a dominant force in the Extreme Enduro winning the Erzbergrodeo and Romaniacs fully solidifying his place as a top tier rider.

In 2019 and 2020 Billy faced issues with serious leg injury but stayed focused and dedicated, quickly bouncing back in 2021 by winning the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship for the second time.
