Hannah Otto’s Little Sugar Podium Finish

A rough start. Twenty-three passes. A podium finish.

Hannah Otto fought her way from 26th place entering the singletrack to 3rd overall and 2nd in the Lifetime Grand Prix at Little Sugar this weekend.

After a difficult start, Hannah had plenty of ground to make up. But with determination and strong legs, she charged through the tight, twisty trails, making 23 passes on her way to the podium.

Reflecting on her performance, Hannah was thrilled with the fitness and fortitude she showed to earn the result. With Big Sugar up next, she’s ready to carry that momentum into the next race.

Race-Day Hydration

On technical trails, every second counts. Staying hydrated without losing focus or taking your hands off the bars can make a real difference.

Hannah relies on her USWE packs to keep fluids within easy reach throughout the race, using a fresh pack at each aid station to stay hydrated and focused on the trail ahead.

“I rely heavily on my USWE packs at Little Sugar. At each Aid Station I just swap packs so that I constantly have easy, fast access to fluids. On these tight and twisty trails, reaching down to grab a bottle can be a huge challenge, I love being able to just throw the hose in my mouth and drink while I crush a descent.”
