GRIT - Episode 4 - Disparity

Why do we hate change? Fear of the unknown? But change can also be a catalyst for life’s most significant moments. Today our athletes are racing 101km in the heat and dust on the trails of Greyton. High speed and high risk are key today as they must go a blistering pace climbing 2250m. The track changes half way through and perfect teamwork will be of high importance. Will our Athletes pass the test?

Stage 3

Todays stage of Absa Cape Epic begins with a backloaded singletrack, long stretches of farm dual tracks will ensure a quick pace. Out athletes must fight the heat and dust until they reach the rocky mountain singletracks of the second half of the stage that totally changes the tempo.

It all ends with a thrilling tough climb within sight of the finish line.

On a track that switches it up, good team work and communication is what takes you through.
