USWE Adventure Team is a Swedish based team compeeting on the highest level in the World Series of Adventure Racing. The competetions are 500-750km, multi day, non stop races with Mountainbike, Running and kayak. The team are travelling the world and are putting our gear to the test in fierce environments and conditions. The team Captain is well known to USWE as he is also our CEO The Adventure Team has been with USWE since 2017.
With top riders onboard the team such as Manuel Fumic (Germany) and Henrique Avancini (Brazil), the Cannondale Factory Team leads the World Cup rankings as the fastest team for the entire WC Tour. And, Avancini’s victory at the 2018 UCI MTB Marathon World Championships shows how the team has worked tirelessly to keep the CFR flame ablaze. In re-signing all riders through the next Olympic cycle, CFR looks to capture more wins on the World Cup circuit; to win the overall at Absa Cape Epic; and to continue down the ultimate path toward XC medals at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
Sam Sunderland have been riding the tracks of the British motocross scene since he was seven quickly getting a reputation as an accomplished desert rider and becoming somewhat of a international superstar. His first major victory came in 2011 when he won two stages of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and three others in the Australasian Safari. In 2012 Sam at just 22 years old participated in his first Dakar rally. A race that he during day one had great success in but had to cancel due to electrical problems. During the years to come Sam had great success when racing the Dakar rallys but always had to quit due to different problems. But as a true weekend warrior he kept racing and worked harder. And even though he wasn't able to finish the Dakar Rallys his talent did not go unnoticed when he joined the KTM family in in 2014. Sam stayed determined to win and in 2017 he managed to take his first title with his first ever Dakar finish, becoming the first British Dakar champion in the process.
Taylor Robert grew up racing dirt bikes in the American desert. He started his riding at the young age of four and spent his whole youth as a regular on the tracks. In his youth he participated in many amateur nationals where he himself admits he never was the fastest competitor. But after years of racing and improving he became a consistent top five finisher in his class. But during a recovery from several broken vertebrae as a fifteen year old his attention moved away from the motocross scene and his interest switched to the World Off-Road Championship Series where he participated in 2006.
Laura Celdran is a telecommunications engineer passionate about her love for sports and the love for bicycles. Laura practices different kinds of mountain bike on a regular like dirt, enduro and downhill. She is a real thrillseeker and weekend warrior loving most extreme sports more than mountain bike such as freeride and freestyle snowboarding. She has a huge social media following watching her every move and following her crazy action filled lifestyle. She host events for female mountain bikers in spain, where they learn more in depth about the action filled sport that is mountain bike.
Toby Price is one of the most respected and well liked offroad racers. He is a hardcore racer with a more than impressive track record including four Finke wins, five Hattah Desert Race victories, five Australian Off-Road Championships and two national enduro championships. In 2015 Toby made his first attempt at finishing the devastating 9,000km, 14-day Dakar Rally. A stage win and an overall podium showed everyone watching that Toby Price was someone to watch out for going forward and landed Toby a full-time seat on the KTM Factory Racing Team. The next year Price lived up to all expecations becoming Australia’s first-ever Dakar champion at only his second attempt ever. In 2017 Price broke his leg but returned after only eight weeks to continue training and to continue his crazy adventure to dominate the Dakar scene in true weekend warrior fashion.
